The collegiate AMA membership is an invaluable asset to students who are training to become marketers. Collegiate members have many opportunities to network with professionals in all fields to empower students and give them insights that might not be provided in the classroom. As a collegiate member, you will get the chance to learn about managing finances, people, projects, and deadlines – all of which are skills that will give your resume the cutting edge. Furthermore, you will have the chance to hear first-hand the successes and failures of industry veterans in a distilled format.
To supplement your membership, AMA will provide you with access to College2Career Resources (job search/career planning tool), the International Collegiate Conference and Case Competition (“the ultimate marketing experience”), online publications such as Marketing News and the Collegiate E-Newsletter, and many competitions throughout the year to apply everything you’ve been learning in the classroom.

What do we do?
Throughout the year we engage in marketing related activities in order to develop the skills of our members. This includes developing marketing plans for local businesses, case studies and resume-building activities.
As a chapter we participate in competitions through the national AMA competing against other chapters in producing t-shirt designs, websites, case briefs and more!
One of the incredible benefits of being a part of the AMA is networking with industry professionals through chapter-hosted presentations, industry council meetings and local/regional/national gatherings.
